Jon Goldberg founded Peak42 in March of 2009. He has extensive executive database architecture experience and a proven record of success in managing software development with results that are innovative as well as customer driven. Jon has been working on Oracle databases, as a senior dveloper for over 15 years as well as guiding a number of development teams at Ultimate Electronics, Sports Authority, Raindance, go.com and infoseek. He has designed a next-generation native, self-describing XML database product.
Channing Jackson, Chief Technology Officer
Channing Jackson has a passion for focusing on the technology development results of without compromising the quality of the solution. Prior to Peak42, Channing has held senior development positions at a number of firms including Qualcomm and CSC Consulting. Channing has worked extensively at every development level of business applications from database architecture to middleware development, application architecture and web interfaces. Channing is widely known for implementing data modeling structures that have extremely rigorous performance requirements.
Mark Scheneecker
Mark Schenecker provides a blend of technical and business acumen that results in solutions that solve business problems in a technologically elegant fashion. Prior to Peak42, Mark was an VP of Product Management at E2open. Mark worked with corporate marketing, sales and engineering to synthesize a strategy that provided value to the company and to its customers. Previously, Mark was the CTO at PartMiner as well as the VP of Research and Development at E2open. Mark has authored four patents, one book on e-commerce and has published numerous articles on software development.
Craig Bernard, Chief Financial Officer
Craig Bernard’s primary focus is on the numbers, however, he is well versed in the overall operation of a software business and lends an invaluable perspective to the strategic direction of the company. He brings to the table a deep understanding of the inner workings and needs of businesses, gained from his 20 years’ experience in corporate leadership, cross-functional project management, and client partnering.
Prior to Peak42, Craig held several senior financial and operation executive positions in the financial services, health care consulting, distribution, printing, oil and gas, forensic investigation and real estate industries. Craig's duties have included directing the company’s long-term financial and strategic plans as well as managing the company’s day-to-day financial affairs. Craig also played a leadership role in mergers and acquisitions and business development activities. He has also coordinated the efforts of the operations staff to ensure high quality, timely, and cost-effective service. Craig has performed these duties as Managing Director and CFO for Cyopsis, CFO & COO for Just Associates, Senior Director of Corporate Finance at First Data Corporation and Assistant Controller at Unite Parcel Service (UPS).
Nicholas Trandem
Nicholas Trandem is an experienced software engineer and database architect who has a proven track record of delivery of on-time and on-budget results with quality craftsmanship. Nicholas has over a decade of experience in the development of complex, enterprise-wide applications incorporating object-oriented analysis and design and advanced application architecture.
Tom Witmer
Tom Witmer brings 15 years of experience in the delivery and support of mission-critical software for Fortune 500 customers worldwide, and has contributed heavily to the vision and evolution of Peak42 database technologies. Tom has managed large-scale systems implementations from initial database design and architecture through testing and operational support.
Alan Switzer
Alan Switzer has over 15 years of object-oriented software development in LINUX, UNIX and Windows with seven years of web application development utilizing XML web standards for data interchange. Before Peak42, Alan led engineering teams developing frontend interfaces as well as a number of mission-critical web-based medical applications. Alan has one patent issued around complex billing data structures.
